Where can I download Aquarium?

The Mac App Store release is being prepared. A store link will be added here when the app is available.

How do I open the controls?

Click the fish icon in the macOS menu bar. Select fish, scenes and lighting there, or open Aquarium Settings to adjust population and rendering quality.

How do I pause or restore my wallpaper?

Choose Pause to stop playback. Choose Quit Aquarium to reveal your regular desktop wallpaper. The app does not replace your saved macOS wallpaper file.

How can I reduce power use?

Choose Energy Saver in Aquarium Settings. Playback also pauses during display sleep or when the user session becomes inactive.

Which languages and Macs are supported?

The app supports English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese and follows your preferred app language. macOS 14 or later is required; builds include Apple Silicon and Intel support.

What should I include in a support request?

Include your macOS version, Mac model, app version and the steps that reproduce the issue. Attach a screenshot if useful, and remove private information before sending.
